Travel RN – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care within a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor and document patient conditions, interventions, and responses to treatment
• Provide patient and family education related to diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or a compact state license
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and quality improvement initiatives
• Experience in a hospital recognized for patient care excellence
