Senior IT Specialist
Virtual Vocations Inc
Supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time Senior IT Specialist will design, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications in a remote Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Key responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise software applications using Agile methodologies Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure coding practices Troubleshoot application defects and performance issues while supporting application modernization efforts Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Five or more years of experience in administering and supporting enterprise Windows server infrastructure Experience with Microsoft .NET technologies and developing enterprise web applications Familiarity with Agile and/or SAFe development environments and participation in Scrum ceremonies Proficiency in designing and supporting RESTful APIs and Microsoft SQL Server databases
