Computer Scientist
US Department of Commerce
Duties
Apply technical expertise to adapt the latest computer technology to highly technical and complicated computing system developments consistent with overall policies, procedures, and budgetary constraints.
Analyze user and organizational requirements to design efficient and effective computing systems that manage small and large data stores and retrieve data efficiently.
Adapt and implement software development life cycle and project management best practices for all software development, based on project needs, rules and policies and standards.
