Culver City, California Primary responsibilities: - Ingest SD cards, hard drives, and SSDs from all shoots - Build project files for various series, including multi-cam shows, clip shows, and shows with multi-channel audio - Prioritize multiple projects according to delivery timelines and pivot quickly between tasks - Track progress across multiple ongoing projects; communicate progress and updates to producers and editors in a timely manner Associated responsibilities: - Ingest archive material on HDcam, Digibeta, or other tape stock - Keep an eye out and immediately flag any issues with incoming media audio or video, such as recurrent noise, faulty mics, or bad color - Recognize labeling patterns and maintain consistency as much as possible - Assist with creating split-track masters for archiving - Prep media, caption files, and graphics for VOD deliveries - Archive any production paperwork that is submitted with media - Assist members of the post dept. with production needs as time allows Requirements: - BS/BA in communication, film/TV, or related discipline - Proficient with Mac interface, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Google sheets and docs - Good written and verbal communication skills - Attention to detail; low margin of error and ability to catch and fix mistakes - Highly organized; able to implement workflows and best practices for maximum efficiency - Able to work in a self-directed environment with prompt follow-through and good time management - Good technical instincts and troubleshooting skills - Experience with media formats and post production workflow a plus Allen Media Group is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
