High School Computer Science TeacherLocation: Dearborn, MI Position Type: Full-Time Grades: 9–12 Start Date: Fall 2025 A public charter school in Dearborn is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable High School Computer Science Teacher to join its team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and education, with a strong ability to engage students in meaningful, hands-on learning.Responsibilities Include:Teaching computer science courses such as introductory programming, web development, and AP Computer Science PrinciplesDeveloping and delivering engaging, standards-aligned lesson plansIncorporating project-based learning and real-world applications of technologyMonitoring student progress and maintaining accurate recordsCreating a classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborationCollaborating with fellow teachers on cross-curricular STEM initiativesSupporting student involvement in technology clubs, competitions, or extracurricular activitiesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related fieldValid Michigan teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain) with a Computer Science endorsementExperience teaching or working with high school students in a classroom settingFamiliarity with programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.) – a programming background is preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsLinked, LLC is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
