We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with a keen interest in audiology and patient-centered care to join a healthcare team in the Midwest region. This part-time, on-site role involves performing specialized audiology testing, assisting with diagnostic procedures, and supporting patients throughout their hearing health journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct audiology tests such as tympanometry, immittance testing, pure tone audiometry, and speech discrimination assessments.
• Report audiology findings promptly to healthcare providers.
• Maintain and care for audiology testing equipment, assist with ordering and stocking supplies.
• Assess and document patients' physical, psychological, and social conditions.
• Prepare for and assist with office procedures, establish treatment priorities based on medical and nursing diagnoses.
• Document nursing interventions, patient responses, and medication administration accurately.
• Monitor and report any adverse medication effects, maintain immunization and medication records.
• Make referrals to other providers or facilities as directed.
• Effectively triage and return patient phone calls in a timely manner.
• Communicate test results to patients following provider instructions.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Record systems according to established protocols.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and supplies replenished as needed.
• Provide patient and family education tailored to their understanding.
• Organize workload efficiently to deliver timely patient care.

Education and Licensure

Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the relevant state or ability to work within the state.

Certifications and Training

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association is required. Completion of a Mandatory Reporter course is required at hire or within six months of employment. Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure and regulatory training requirements is mandatory.
