Refrigeration/Mechanical Startup Technician

Candidate Profile Strong communication and organizational skills, initiative, and ability to work with minimum supervision. Responsibilities Complete startup checklists and commission industrial equipment, including screw compressors, reciprocating compressors, evaporative condensers, evaporators, pumps, and air handling units. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment during startup. Develop pump down and tie‑in plans. Redline as‑built drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), equipment schedules, and layout drawings. Manage ARM/PSM documentation. Perform mechanical integrity inspections. Review construction drawings for constructability and serviceability. Travel will be required. Qualifications Minimum: At least eight years of relevant experience. Experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues. Experience completing startup checklists. Experience commissioning industrial equipment. Experience interpreting construction drawings and specifications. Site construction safety training. CIRO/CARO certification. #J-18808-Ljbffr Mead & Hunt, Inc
