Registered Nurse - Med Surg

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30).

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a focus on Med Surg to provide high-quality care in an acute hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing with a commitment to patient care and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and support within the Med Surg unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Monitor patient health and vital signs, and report any changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Float to other departments as needed, based on skill set and managerial discretion.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current New York State RN license.
• Minimum of two years of acute hospital nursing experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (ACLS preferred).
• Must be willing to float within the hospital according to skill set.
• Completion of EKG P/F Exam required within a specified timeframe.
