Our clinic encourages an atmosphere of teamwork while offering flexible scheduling to promote work-life balance.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will be diverse and engaging, aimed at fostering patients' functional independence through movement and therapeutic exercise. Your core duties include:Consulting with patients to thoroughly understand their physical conditions, medical history, and therapy goals.Conducting physical evaluations to diagnose movement dysfunctions and design customized treatment plans.Teaching and demonstrating therapeutic exercises and functional techniques, ensuring patients and caregivers understand proper methods of execution.Applying manual therapy techniques, including massage and modalities to enhance healing and relieve discomfort.Guiding patients in the effective use of mobility equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers.Documenting patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and maintaining accurate medical records.Providing education to patients and families on in-home treatment options and self-management strategies.Patient Population / Client FocusYou will work with a diverse client population that includes children and adults across various diagnoses. Each patient presents unique challenges and goals, enabling you to apply specialized techniques and foster a deep therapeutic alliance. Our focus on comprehensive assessments and individualized treatment plans ensures that care is tailored to enhance the quality of life for all patients, promoting independence and improving daily functioning.QualificationsThe following qualifications are required for this position:A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida.Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families.Proficient in word processing and electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting patient care.Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varied needs of patients within a home care environment.Preferred ExperienceWhile 2 years of experience in the field is required, we encourage applications from both experienced therapists and new graduates, especially those who demonstrate a willingness to learn. Our clinic offers mentorship programs tailored for emerging professionals to ease the transition into clinical practice.Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
