Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

Responsibilities Assist in training, leading, motivating and coaching F&B hosts to ensure company and department standards are met Actively participate and contribute in promotional activities Effectively schedule hosts and monitor inventory to control department costs Provide recommendations for improvements and solutions to generate revenue and maximize profits Certify quality dining experience through effective interactions with guests Be knowledgeable about food and beverage products Communicate and cultivate effective relationships with hosts and leadership to ensure operational excellence Attend operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments Create and nurture a Great Place to Work for All Minimum Requirements 1-2 years of line supervisory experience in Food & Beverage Experience in a luxury environment and knowledge of Honolulu and surrounding areas desired Working knowledge of food & beverage operations Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting Ability to multi‑task in a high‑volume and demanding environment Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations and guests Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English Valid driver’s license Availability to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evenings, and overnight shifts Compensation & Benefits $70,000-$75,000 with potential for adjustment based on factors such as an applicant’s skills, experience and/or education.
