Cyber Security Systems Engineer

Job Description We are seeking a talented and experienced Cyber Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) with a proficiency in multi-tasking, good verbal and written communications, and highly skilled in Risk Management Framework (RMF) and ICD-503 security accreditation for various assessment and authorization (A&A) efforts. You will have a deep understanding of ISSE and Cyber Security principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining and optimizing the accreditation process. You should have a minimum of 11 years of experience and a bachelor's or master's degree. Required Skills Ability to bridge technical and security languages for those not knowledgible Demonstrated skillset in security RMF and ICD-503 documentations such as contingency plan (CP) Ability to gather artifacts in support of controls and risk elements for closure Ability to take a new system through all the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) phases to Authorization to Operate (ATO) Ability to understand and support the Continuous Monitoring A&A phase Ability to communicate effectively with the ISSM, Security Controls Assessor, and Security Auditors Ability to take risk elements and convert to Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Desired Skills Ability to coordinate across organizations with leadership, project managers, and engineers to achieve requirements for ATD, IATT, and ATO Demonstrated skillset with security tools and reporting such as Greenlight, Rapid7, WebInspect, Splunk Demonstrated skillset with public / private cloud providers (AWS, Google, Azure, etc) NeoMax
