Job Overview Department: 34403 Carolinas Medical Center: Mercy - Nursing: 6 South Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 36 Schedule Details Full-time nights: three 12‑hour shifts per week, 7pm–7am Weekend and holiday requirements Pay Range & Bonuses Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 Sign‑on Bonus eligible. Where You Will Work 6 South is a 34‑bed Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit. Common diagnoses: COPD, Pneumonia, Diabetic Ulcer, Pancreatitis, Abdominal Pain, Altered mental status, ESRD. Experience with drains, wound vacs, central lines, NGT, DHT, and all surgical things. Qualifications 1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred. At least 6 months required outside the New Grad residency program. Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association. Responsibilities As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, skills, and communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
