Job Details Job Location: Office of Gilmer County Commissioners - Ellijay, GA 30540 Position Type: Part Time Education Level: None Job Shift: Any Job Category: Government Position Summary The Volunteer provides general assistance to assigned County departments by supporting staff with administrative, operational, and community service activities. Volunteers perform a variety of non-hazardous tasks under the direction of department leadership while gaining exposure to local government operations and contributing to the mission of Gilmer County Government. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age (unless participating in an approved youth volunteer program). Successfully complete any required background screening and pre-placement requirements. Ability to communicate effectively with employees and the public. Ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively with County staff. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
