Technical Product Manager

Responsibilities Works with other Technology areas to make tactical decisions about product functionality. Manages projects that consist of a single development team. Proposes and manages demand for application work. Manages projects through all phases and milestones. Manages product feature/capability set for business solutions. Performs market and competitor analysis. Authors product requirement documents (PDDs) and technical specs to support engineering handoff and stakeholder alignment. Scopes and manages partner‑facing API and system‑to‑system integrations, coordinating with external technical teams through delivery. Translates technical tradeoffs into business impact for non‑technical stakeholders. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Experience 3‑4 years' relevant experience; experience with partner/vendor integrations or vertical SaaS strongly preferred. Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (One‑year relevant experience is equivalent to one‑year college) Associate's Degree in a Technical Field Certification in relevant focus area Preferred Experience in insurance, animal health, or another regulated/compliance‑heavy vertical. Level Specific Responsibilities Creates and manages product roadmaps. Works with Marketing to determine advertising strategy for products. Analyzes metrics and measures product performance; comfortable working with data engineering to validate reporting accuracy. Manages larger projects that may consist of more than one development team. Works with platform development vendors and internal cross‑functional partners (Design, Legal, Data, Engineering) to provide technical management. Owns the delivery of platform and services. Manages product strategy and feature/capability set for business solutions. Accountability/Complexity Works independently on moderately complex projects/assignments and seeks guidance on projects/assignments of higher complexity.
