This is a great fit for someone who wants meaningful client relationships, exposure to complex and varied engagements (from closely-held businesses to high-net-worth individuals), and a clear path toward greater leadership and eventual partnership-track opportunities.Competitive salary and performance-based bonus structureComprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with employer matchContinuing education support and CPA exam/license reimbursementA collegial, team-oriented culture with a genuine long-term view on staff developmentReal opportunity for advancement within a firm that values continuity and internal growthKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trustsSupport tax planning and consulting engagements, including entity structuring, succession planning, family partnerships, and asset protection strategiesConduct technical tax research and provide well-supported recommendations to clients and engagement teamsManage multiple client relationships and engagements simultaneously, often serving as a trusted advisor rather than just a preparerReview work of staff associates and interns, providing mentorship and technical guidanceAssist with due diligence, forecasts/projections, and other advisory work tied to business development and M&ARespond to IRS and state tax notices and assist with audit support as neededStay current on tax law changes and proactively communicate relevant updates to clients and the teamContribute to business development efforts and help strengthen long-term client relationshipsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master's in Taxation a plusCPA license required or actively pursuing certification3–5+ years of progressive tax experience, ideally in public accounting with exposure to closely-held businesses and/or high-net-worth individualsStrong knowledge of federal and multi-state tax regulationsComfortable working directly with clients and building trust-based relationshipsExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage competing priorities across multiple engagementsDemonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior staff
