Lead Product Marketing Manager, Cash

Wealthfront is looking for a Lead Product Marketing Manager to own our Cash (banking) products. Cash is the hub of Wealthfront’s financial ecosystem; clients love it for its instant money movement, joint account access, and the way it simplifies earning more with their cash. As the newest member of the Marketing org at Wealthfront, you’ll help shape a world class Product Marketing team while diving deep into customer insights, crafting product narratives, leading go-to-market efforts, and identifying new growth opportunities. This role reports directly to a Product Marketing Director and you’ll work closely with partners across Product, Engineering, Design, Research, and other functions. Product Marketing at Wealthfront The product marketing team is a critical function that helps define the roadmap, find audiences, refine positioning, and scale products after they have found product‑market fit. Successful product marketers at Wealthfront define and validate value and growth hypotheses, are energized by iterative experimentation, excel in ambiguous environments, and are fluent with qualitative and quantitative data. They are also strong cross‑functional leaders and communicators. This is an ideal opportunity for a product marketer looking to make a big impact. Success will require strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and a customer‑focused mindset. You’ll help us build and grow financial products that favor people, not institutions. Responsibilities Craft and execute strategies to evolve and strengthen the positioning of Wealthfront’s Cash account, identifying audiences and new growth opportunities for the banking product. Partner with Product, consumer research, engineering, and design to develop a product roadmap that serves unmet customer needs and creates new opportunities for business growth. Develop positioning, audience, and distribution strategies for new and existing products. Develop and optimize experiments to identify the most effective way to reach and convert target audiences. Craft focused briefs, rooted in business and customer insights, for creative teams to execute against. Regularly lead business performance recaps and findings with the executive leadership team. Help build the marketing org’s skill‑set, contributing to a culture of excellence, curiosity, and respect. Qualifications 6+ years in consumer product marketing or growth marketing, with technology and/or startup experience. Passionate storyteller with strong communication, presentation, and writing skills. Strategic thinker who values both creativity and marketing effectiveness. Ability to bring structure to ambiguity, deploy frameworks, and distill insights into coherent, concise, and actionable plans that tackle complex objectives. A data‑driven mindset and comfort with analysis, testing, and measurement methodologies; experience running messaging tests and A/B experiments. A low‑ego, high‑accountability leader with a willingness to get into details and a tendency to help others succeed. Personal finance knowledge and experience is a bonus, but not required. Bachelor’s degree or higher. Salary Estimated annual salary: $148,000 - $189,000 plus equity and a discretionary bonus.
