Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician role involves frequent bending and lifting of up to 50 pounds. You will perform PC functions related to maintenance, work alongside a maintenance technician to complete repairs and troubleshooting to ensure the quality of machinery and products, enter parts inventory into the work system, complete work orders including comments and parts associated, and handle purchasing requisitions for parts.

Responsibilities

• Perform frequent bending and lifting of 50 pounds.
• Execute PC functions related to maintenance.
• Collaborate with a maintenance technician to complete repairs and troubleshooting.
• Ensure the quality of machinery and products.
• Enter parts inventory into the work system.
• Complete work orders, including comments and associated parts.
• Handle purchasing requisitions for parts.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Electrical repair.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Electrical troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting pneumatics.
• Preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of chemical processes.
• Hydraulics expertise.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Maintenance or similar field.
• Equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.

Work Environment

The work environment is chemical, clean, and well-lit. The position operates on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodstock, GA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $26.50 - $29.85/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
