We proudly serve from bases located in Rush City, North Branch, and Lindstrom, Minnesota, as well as St. Croix Falls and Milltown, Wisconsin. Our ambulances are staffed with highly trained Paramedics and EMTs equipped to provide emergency treatment for traumatic injuries and sudden illnesses. Position Overview We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our team. As a casual EMT, you will play a crucial role in providing prehospital emergency medical care in a variety of settings, including accidents, medical emergencies, and interfacility transfers. Responsibilites Key responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering basic medical care, and safely transporting patients to medical facilities. The role requires quick thinking, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in dynamic and often challenging circumstances. Certifications are not required to apply; however, they are required for the role. If selected for a position, an offer would be contingent on obtaining each certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Valid driver's license The ability to pass a pre-employment screening that includes a drug test, health assessment (i.e., health history and physical/lift assessment, background check, including MedEx Complete, and motor vehicle record check Experience working in a pre-hospital emergency setting is a plus Summary At Lakes Region EMS, we believe taking care of our employees is essential to providing exceptional care to our communities.
