Quality Supervisor

Quality Control SupervisorHyve Solutions is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Quality Control Supervisor to lead quality operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for daily execution of quality inspection activities, direct supervision of QC personnel, and real-time ownership of quality performance on the production floor. The ideal candidate is a strong floor leader who drives accountability, enforces standards, and ensures quality issues are identified and addressed early.Responsibilities:Provide day-to-day supervision and leadership for Quality Control Inspectors and Lead on assigned shiftOwn daily quality execution, including inspection flow, prioritization, and coverageLead daily quality huddles to review metrics, communicate priorities, identify blockers, and drive follow-up actionsEnsure inspection activities comply with work instructions, workmanship standards, IPC requirements, and ESD controlsMaintain visibility on the production floor to proactively identify risks, issues, and improvement opportunitiesEnsure accurate completion and maintenance of inspection records and quality documentationSupport identification, containment, and escalation of nonconforming materialParticipate in root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and verification of effectivenessEnforce consistent application of quality procedures and policies across the shiftCoach and develop QC personnel to improve technical skill, decision-making, and accountabilitySupport audit readiness by maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 and environmental management requirementsTrack, maintain, and report shift-level quality metrics and action itemsCommunicate effectively with Production, Engineering, and Quality leadership regarding quality status and risksEnsure work areas are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe conditionQualifications:Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent manufacturing experienceTypically requires 3–5 years of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environmentPrior experience leading or supervising teams preferredWorking knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems preferredElectronics or PCBA manufacturing experience preferredFamiliarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610) preferredStrong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skillsProficiency with basic computer applications and data tracking tools (spreadsheets, reports, metrics)Ability to work extended hours, occasional weekends, or off-shift support as business needs requireLeadership Expectations:Demonstrates ownership of quality performance and shift executionLeads with presence, clarity, and consistencyCommunicates issues with facts, data, and recommended actionsHolds team members accountable while maintaining morale and professionalismUnderstands that quality leadership starts on the floorComp Range - $70,500 -$95,000K@ HYVE Solutions, we believe employees are our greatest asset and we empower them to make a difference in our business.
