Inventory/Materials Ast

Job Title
Candidates must be able to pass a physical to be conducted by client's local health services provider. They conducts the required screenings, including eyesight and hearing evaluations. After receiving the screening results, our client's team reviews them and conducts the on-site truck driving training and certification.
Job Description:
Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued. Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones. Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts. Specific job description includes operations in the areas of packaging, handling, storage, transportation, receiving, and inventory management.
Required Experience:
- At least 1-2 years experience using a forklift and/or pallet stacker.
- At least 1-2 years experience with warehousing experience.
- At least 1-2 years experience operating a box truck (non-CDL) with 40 lbs. lift gate.
- At least 1-2 years experience in MS Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint).
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Able to work effectively in a team environment. Valid U.S. driver's license.
Desired Skills:
- Experience packaging items for shipment to both commercial and military standards (1-2 years experience).
- Experience working in shipping/receiving warehouse operations (1-2 years experience).
- Prior experience utilizing inventory management software (1-2 years experience).
- Basic understanding of U.S. Army supply operations (1-2 years experience).
- Familiarity with Army regulations and Army Supply (1-2 years experience).
- Prior military experience.
