Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $1,997 per week (Hiring Immediately)

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN STICU - Surgical Trauma Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Nashville, Tennessee.Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: STICU - Surgical Trauma Intensive Care
• Discipline: RN
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

Unit Specifics:

· Number of Beds : 16

· Patient Ratios : 2:1, sometimes 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity/staffing

· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): unit secretary staffed during dayshift. Occasional nurse extern working as a tech.

· Type of equipment: Ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, EV 1000.

· Documentation system: Meditech

· Scheduling requirements: Minimum weekend requirement is 4 weekend shifts per schedule. Schedule is done in 4 week increments. Self-scheduling to an extent. Manager will move shifts to balance out schedule.

· Floating policy: Contract labor is first to float. If the staffing need is in med/surg, contract labor is expected to float to med/surg and take the assignment.

· Patient Experience requirements: Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients/family members.

Hospital Specifics-

· Certifications: ACLS, BLS
