Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the birthing center and mother-baby unit.
• Independently attend deliveries and circulate in C-sections, providing assistance as needed.
• Transition newborns immediately after delivery and provide initial care.
• Administer and titrate medications such as Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin.
• Collaborate with an in-house OB hospitalist and NNP for patient assessment and triage.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EPIC charting system.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with eligibility for Washington State licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of LDRP experience; exceptions made for multiple travel experiences with 1-year experience.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP; preferred intermediate or advanced FHM skills.
• Strong skills in managing high-risk pregnancies and acute care scenarios.
• Proficient in reading EFM strips and responding to telemonitor alerts.
• Strong adaptability and cooperative approach to unit workflows and team collaborations.
