The Business Analyst at Sparks Wiz Limited will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between engineering teams and business stakeholders. This role involves analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and providing insights to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering principles and processes, coupled with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Note: This position is strictly open to candidates within the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify and document business and technical requirements. Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather detailed requirements.
• Data Analysis: Analyze project data, performance metrics, and industry trends to provide actionable insights. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track project progress and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Process Improvement: Evaluate existing engineering processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Recommend and implement process changes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Solution Design: Work with engineering teams to design solutions that align with business requirements and technical constraints. Develop use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Project Management Support: Assist in defining project scopes, objectives, and deliverables. Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between engineering teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication. Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and updates to various audiences.
• Testing and Validation: Support the testing and validation of engineering solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards. Assist in the development of test plans and test cases.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for business processes, requirements, and solutions. Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Masters degree or relevant certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an engineering or technical environment.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with engineering principles, processes, and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Work Environment:

• Remote setting with occasional site visits to engineering facilities or project sites.
• May require occasional travel to meet with clients or stakeholders.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 hours per week
