Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a Days shift assignment requiring 24 months of MRI experience and proficiency with both Siemens and GE equipment.
Details
- MRI department within a hospital setting across multiple campuses (Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran & Iowa Methodist)
- Patient population includes ED, IP, and OP cases
- Utilizes Siemens and GE MRI equipment
- Performs power injection contrast injections
- Monday-Friday schedule, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 40 hrs/week
- On-call requirement of one weeknight (Sun-Thurs) and one weekend (Fri/Sat) every 10th weekend
- May be required to float across all campuses
- EMR: EPIC/EPIC Radiant
Requirements
- Minimum 24 months of current MRI experience required
- ARRT (R)(MR) certification or ARMRIT certificate required
- License required if applicable
- Level II Trauma experience required
- Level I Trauma experience preferred
- Current or recent hospital experience required
- Strong experience and proficiency with both Siemens and GE MRI equipment required
- EPIC or EPIC Radiant experience highly preferred
- Travel experience preferred
- Professional reference from a supervisor/manager within the past 24 months preferred
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Charcoal gray scrubs required
- Contractors are required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed
- Limited time-off requests permitted during the Thanksgiving and Winter holiday periods
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address
- Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) may be restricted from working travel assignments in another market within the past 12 months
- First-time travelers may be considered
