Valiant is looking for a Locksmith to join our team! The Locksmith installs, repairs, modifies, and opens various locking mechanisms found on doors, desks, compartments, mobile equipment, safes, and vaults. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Fabricate and duplicate keys. Replace or repair door assemblies and locks. Install, maintain, repair, replace, remove, open, and reset mechanical and electronic combinations for cipher locks. Perform other locksmith duties as designated by Security, the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and Facility Services Office personnel. Maintain key inventories and records in the Facility Services Keystone program. Document all key issuance in accordance with site Facility Services policies and procedures. Fabricate and duplicate keys as necessary. Provide locksmith services related to card-access system components, including installation, maintenance, repair, replacement, removal, programming, and reprogramming. Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license. Observe and comply with the company’s quality, health, safety, and environmental policies at all times. Report all hazards, potential hazards, and dangerous conditions—including damaged or misplaced personal protective equipment—to your supervisor or safety representative. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
