Infertility Physician – Independent Practice Track (MedCBO Supported) Job Overview Independent ownership model: physicians own a practice entity, receive structured support for billing, staffing, compliance, technology, and financial infrastructure. No employment relationship; physicians retain full clinical authority. Physician Responsibilities Provide infertility care within scope of practice. Develop professional relationships in the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing and contract negotiation. Determine clinical services offered and manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination and legal structure support. Billing and collections management; payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure, reporting, and practice financial infrastructure. Operational workflows, staffing systems, and technology platform implementation. Credentialing, enrollment, and facility privileging coordination. Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in infertility or related specialty appropriate to clinical services. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in independent practice ownership model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is generated by the physician‑owned practice. Financial outcomes vary based on specialty scope, services offered, payer mix, physician activity, and local market conditions. Results are not guaranteed.
