Position Overview Department: 37503 Lexington Medical Center - Outpatient Rehabilitation Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours per Week: 40 Schedule: M-F Pay Range: $51.05 - $76.60 Position Highlights Up to $7,500 in relocation assistance (for qualified candidates) Location: Lexington, North Carolina What We Offer Day 1 Health Coverage: Choose from either copay or HSA-eligible health insurance options with coverage starting on your first day of work. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree from an accredited physical or occupational therapy program. Current licensure in the applicable state. CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C. What You'll Do Adhere to general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building. Follow hospital policies and procedures. Follow departmental policies and procedures. Contribute to the overall quality of services and keep informed about changes in policies and procedures. Manage daily operations and ensure efficient utilization of resources to meet customer needs and budgetary expectations. Work cooperatively with other managers/CD to assist with the operation of the Physical/Occupational Therapy department. Understand budgeted expectations and use all reasonable resources to achieve. Manage and facilitate growth of staff: hire, supervise, and evaluate staff; complete and submit performance evaluations by the due date. Manage and improve processes to optimize quality and efficiency of services. Lead the development of evidence-based guidelines and guide the systematic collection and reporting of quality outcome measures to improve care. Provide patient care assessment and treatment; use professional judgment in interpreting evaluation results and establishing treatment plan with realistic goals. Maintain accurate documentation. Ensure compliance with all internal and external professional and regulatory agency standards. Promote professional development and education of other health care workers and provide committee representation. Communicate effectively: inform Clinical Director of issues and resolutions to potential problems; communicate in a professional and timely manner with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers. Provide appropriate patient care in accordance with age/developmental guidelines, demonstrating age/developmentally specific knowledge, skills, and abilities. Maintain competence related to age/developmentally specific patient care by regularly updating knowledge of growth, development, and the aging process.
