Overview
Registered Nurse — Observation Unit in Zanesville, Ohio. Start date: 09/21/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay: $1,857–$1,975 per week; Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts (7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.). Work setting involves an Observation unit with the possibility to float to other Med-Surg areas (Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac) and potentially the ED as skills permit.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adults on the Observation unit, including monitoring, assessments, and routine procedures.
- Interpret and document telemetry data; recognize rhythm changes and respond per protocol; update care plans accordingly.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered; ensure safety, infection control, and IV therapy as appropriate.
- Document thoroughly in the Epic EMR; ensure accuracy and timeliness of all charting and orders.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate discharge planning and continuity of care across units as needed.
- Participate in unit rounds, respond to changes in patient status, and follow policy for limited on-call duties.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of current Telemetry/Med-Surg experience; must be able to read Telemetry/BCRA and pass competency on day one.
- Epic EMR proficiency required (refresher courses or one-on-one tutoring not available).
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to float to other Med-Surg units and possibly the ED; comfortable in a fast-paced, variable environment.
- Start date and end date must be identical to the submission; all RTO details must be disclosed at submission.
