A night shift pharmacist opportunity is available in a large, busy hospital setting located in the Houston, TX area. This contract assignment begins ASAP and runs for 13 weeks or longer. The role is ideal for a pharmacist with strong inpatient experience who is comfortable working the night shift and ready to travel.

Responsibilities:

• Manage inpatient pharmacy operations during night hours, ensuring safe and accurate dispensing of medications.
• Utilize pharmacy information systems to verify and process medication orders.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Texas pharmacist license required.
• Texas IV certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
