NOW HIRING – Electrical Wiring & Mechanical Assembly Technician

Garland, TX
Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:30am - 3:00pm 

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Electrical Wiring & Mechanical Assembly Technicians to join our manufacturing team in Garland, TX. This position involves electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, fitting, mounting, and assembling components and sub-assemblies used in electrical control equipment.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working from drawings and instructions, using hand and power tools, and maintaining high standards for quality, accuracy, and production.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Wiring Pay $20.00 

• Perform wiring of control panels, switchgear, switchboards, and ATS units.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Wire electrical components, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Assemble electrical switchboard equipment.
• Perform wiring and assembly according to drawings, specifications, and written or verbal instructions.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and applicable codes.

Mechanical Assembly Pay $19.00 

• Assemble, fit, align, and mount mechanical components and sub-assemblies.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and other assembly tools as required.
• Read and follow mechanical drawings, blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Install brackets, hardware, panels, frames, and other components according to specifications.
• Measure, position, and align components to ensure proper fit and function.
• Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, quality, and proper installation.
• Identify and communicate missing parts, material shortages, or assembly issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

General Responsibilities

• Maintain expected production progress within the assigned work area.
• Follow oral and written instructions, manufacturing drawings, and specifications.
• Maintain high standards for quality, accuracy, and productivity.
• Work effectively as part of a team and assist coworkers during periods of high demand.
• Work assigned hours and overtime as required.
• Follow scheduled start/stop times and break periods.
• Perform other duties and functions as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or industrial assembly preferred.
• Ability to read and follow electrical wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and manufacturing instructions.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce quality work.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
• Ability to adjust to changing production demands.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when required.
