Direct Counsel is representing a prestigious AmLaw firm seeking a junior to midlevel Associate (2–5 years) to join its sophisticated Labor & Employment practice in San Francisco or Silicon Valley.

Location : San Francisco | Silicon Valley

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with employment law or litigation experience to work on high-level counseling, investigations, and employment litigation matters within a nationally recognized practice.

Responsibilities

• Advise employers on a broad range of labor and employment matters
• Handle:
  • Employment counseling
  • Single-plaintiff litigation
  • Class and collective action litigation
  • Workplace investigations
• Draft motions, pleadings, and employment-related agreements and policies
• Collaborate with clients and legal teams on complex employment disputes and compliance matters

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of large law firm experience
• Background in:
  • Employment law
  • General litigation
  • Labor & employment disputes
• Experience with employment counseling and investigations preferred
• Excellent academic credentials and strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Active California Bar membership required

Compensation

Expected salary range in California: $225,000 – $435,000 , depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
