Registered Nurse - Cardiac Med/Tele

Schedule

NIGHTS - 12HR: 7 PM to 7 AM. Options for 36 and 48 hours per week with 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least one holiday during the contract period.

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Med/Tele Unit. This unit has a capacity of 43 beds, and you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Med/Tele unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care in the EPIC system.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed; training will be provided.
• Flexibility to float to other units as required by the facility.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of acute hospital experience, including at least 1 year in a med-surg or tele unit.
• Active NY Registered Nurse license.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• For non-U.S. candidates, a minimum of 2 years of work history in the U.S. is required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
