Position is budgeted through end of year after a previous resource reached tenure. Additional need depends on the amount of additional projects they get.
Should understand how devops works, but will primarily work as SSIS and SQL developers. Helps if they have Python, Powershell, other such technologies.
Support multiple CRM's that are distributed amongst different offices in the enterprise for CCIB. Do data migrations from one system to the other, support a lot of reporting. Follow data release processes. Don't want each member of the team to be dedicated to one project, can create bottlenecks. Have people rotate projects based on availability. Different apps have different release schedules to work around.
Will work with 7 other engineers on the team. Fully hands on development, a core developer. A lead engineer on the team is responsible for any leadership, this person should only expect to be coding. Should be ok with supporting releases that extend into nights and weekends.
Will participate in daily stand-up calls. Should speak to roadblocks that they've hit, issues that they're seeing.
Banking experience isn't necessary but it helps.
- Thorough understanding of DEVOPS tools like TFS/Azure Devops
- Experience working with tools like Visio, DrawIO, etc.
- Experience working with PowerShell and C#
- Knowledge and familiarity with MSDYN data structures
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with cloud services a plus (Azure specifically)
