We are looking for a part time (20ish hours/week) third wave barista to join our team of coffee nerds! We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about coffee, from the way it is farmed all the way to it's final preparation. We want someone with a great attention to detail, kind customer service, warm energy, and a passion for specialty coffee.

This position is 21+ and requires a Utah on-premise alcohol seller's certification.

Availability: Saturday and Sunday availability is required.

Responsibilities:

• Dial in espresso daily by accurately measuring dose, grind, and extraction time.
• Upsell specialty coffee beans with a genuine interest in each batch’s unique qualities.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including weekly deep-cleaning tasks.
• Create a welcoming environment and build rapport with customers and the community.
• Quickly learn and implement new ideas and processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Third Wave barista
• Latte art skills preferred, though training can be provided.
• Basic knowledge of coffee farming, processing, and roasting
• High integrity with a strong attendance record.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high work standards.
• Effective listening and communication skills.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Food Handler’s Permit required.
