Job Details Specialty: Rehabilitation Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 32 Shift: 8 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in an acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within facility guidelines Comply with state PT board rules and regulations Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care Use adaptive equipment and medical center computer systems for daily tasks Evaluate and create a plan of care, and modify it as indicated based on patient condition Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and insurance guidelines Requirements • Must have 6 months experience; new graduates encouraged. • BLS and state-specific licensing required. • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean or stoop for extended periods. • Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
