You will work side‑by‑side with firm leadership to serve clients and build the business, having a direct impact on the firm’s success. You will also mentor and coach a group of talented staff, utilizing your expertise to help develop their technical and professional skills. What You Will Do Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing various federal tax compliance and consulting services to industry‑specific clients. Lead client relationships on day‑to‑day tax matters with clients ranging from middle market to multinational. Consult on technical matters and special projects in various areas of corporate and flow‑through taxation, accounting methods, and ASC 740. Research various tax matters, respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries, and make recommendations to the client for consideration. Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complicated tax matters in state and local, high net worth, international, research and development, credits and incentives areas. Manage client engagement staffing, billing, collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met. Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally to acquire new clients, projects and revenue. Enjoy friendships, social activities and team outings that encourage a work‑life balance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. CPA, EA or Law License required. Eight (8)+ years’ experience required. Five (5)+ years’ of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates preferred. Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management and communication skills. Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning to stay current regarding applicable strategies. See the "big picture" as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and timely completion of projects. Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred. Compensation and Benefits Pay rate range $105,900 to $178,360. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location.
