Lead Assembler

Lead Assembler role at Baxter in Irvine, California, responsible for coordinating manufacturing operations on second shift. Position oversees labor allocation, production scheduling, quality compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring regulatory and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate labor assignments and MAR operator staffing to meet production expectations
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives using lean, six sigma, and other methodologies
- Monitor production, adjust work assignments, and optimize material flow to meet daily build plans
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, regulatory, and safety requirements in manufacturing areas
- Identify issues and communicate proactively to prevent impacts to production schedules
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience with mechanical and electrical equipment troubleshooting
- Pass visual acuity test with 20/20 corrected vision
- Particulate Matter Certification required
- Knowledge of Bill of Material process and standard operating procedures
- Valid work authorization in the United States
Compensation: $30.50 per hour
