CNC Operator (2nd Shift)Join a Modern Precision Manufacturing Team

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our advanced machining facility. In this role, you'll operate CNC lathes and related equipment, inspect precision components, enter production data, and help maintain efficient, high-quality manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with CNC machining experience who wants to grow their skills in a clean, technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and machining equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load raw materials, start machine cycles, and unload finished parts.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
• Read basic blueprints and apply GD&T principles to verify quality.
• Perform machine offsets and tooling insert changes after training.
• Accurately record production and job data in ERP systems.
• Follow all quality, safety, and production standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and team goals.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of CNC machining or CNC operator experience.
• 2+ years of CNC lathe operating experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Basic understanding of GD&T and machining practices.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Okuma machines is a plus.
• Eligible to work with ITAR-controlled technical data.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lake Zurich, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $62400.00/yr.
