Risk Management Safety Coordinator Industrial Focus

Job Description We are seeking a Risk & Safety Coordinator to join our team in Houston, TX. This role is a key member of the risk management operation, supporting all company locations and client sites. Responsibilities Promote a safety‑first culture across operations Conduct on‑site risk assessments and recommend corrective actions Investigate accidents and injuries; prepare reports for hearings and insurance reviews Coordinate workers’ compensation claims from intake through resolution Support insurance programs and maintain compliance with safety manuals Lead the Safety Committee and deliver training programs tailored to client environments Perform monthly claims analysis and distribute reports to leadership Provide direct support to field offices and travel 25%+ for inspections and training Qualifications 2–4 years of experience in safety management, risk management, or claims management (staffing, construction, manufacturing, or industrial preferred) Knowledge of OSHA standards, incident reporting, risk assessments, and safety audits Experience with workers’ compensation processes including classification coding and claims handling Strong communication and analytical skills with focus on root cause analysis Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to travel 25%+ and conduct site inspections Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Risk Management, or related field OSHA 30‑Hour Certification, CSP, ARM, or equivalent Workers’ Compensation Adjuster’s License Experience with return‑to‑work strategies Spanish language proficiency Demonstrated training design and delivery experience Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, and paid time off Company Description This is a people‑first, execution‑focused organization assembling a high‑impact team of engineers and operators.
