Financial Reporting Analyst SeniorThe Financial Reporting Analyst Senior provides oversight and direction of FP&A management, and assists with consolidated G&A management and analysis.Responsibilities:Present financial summaries and business insights to FP&A leadershipDevelop financial models to support decision making related to Budget, Forecast, monthly G&A analysis and current and historical FTE analysisCreate effective business partnerships, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance based on data analysisAssist in driving change as needed to improve financials for the organization and build analytical tools to gain efficiencies in financial modeling as requiredLead automation efforts of critical processesUtilize data mining techniques to extract insights and inform financial decision makingAssist in the development of the long-range financial plans and continuously analyze operating financial resultsWork closely with other departments within Amerihealth to ensure that strategic initiatives are achievedAssist in the coaching, development and mentoring of financial analystsAssist in the development of the annual budget and analyze actual and budgeted figures on an ongoing basisReview monthly financial operating results, identifying key trends, variances, and areas of improved performanceWork with other departments for account reconciliationPerform ad hoc analysis and forecasts for internal management team and external customersSkills:Experienced in financial modeling, analysis, and P&L management PreferredDemonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvementsStrong knowledge of data mining techniques and adhoc analysisExperience communicating results to senior leadership or experience building reporting that informs decision makingExperience with Hyperion/Oracle or similar ERP systemsProficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPointHealthcare Industry experience preferredEducation:Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field requiredAt least five (5) or more years of progressive FP&A or Accounting experienceEEO: "Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of – Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans."
