We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic 6th Grade Math Teacher who enjoys helping students build confidence and a strong foundation in mathematics. The ideal candidate is patient, creative, and able to make math engaging and accessible for students with different learning styles.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach engaging 6th grade math lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Use technology and hands-on activities to support student learning.
• Monitor student progress through classwork, assessments, and projects.
• Create a positive and respectful classroom environment.
• Provide helpful feedback, encouragement, and academic support.
• Communicate with families and collaborate with fellow teachers.
• Keep accurate records of student progress and attendance.
• Support students' academic and social-emotional growth.

Qualifications

• Background or experience in math education, tutoring, or working with students ages 11–14.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
• Comfortable using educational technology.
• Knowledge of middle school mathematics, including basic algebra and geometry.
• A positive, patient, and supportive approach to teaching.
