Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full-time Kitchen Equipment Delivery and Installation Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering, installing, and troubleshooting a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment. Your expertise will ensure that each piece of equipment is installed correctly, functioning properly, and meets our high standards for quality and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with state-of-the-art appliances and contribute to the success of our clients’ culinary operations.

Duties

• Safely deliver kitchen equipment to client locations using company vehicles, adhering to all safety protocols and traffic laws
• Install a variety of commercial appliances including refrigeration units, ovens, dishwashers, and other kitchen fixtures following schematics and technical specifications
• Conduct thorough equipment troubleshooting to identify issues related to electrical, plumbing, or mechanical systems
• Use hand tools, power tools, and ladder systems efficiently for assembly, installation, and repair tasks
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on kitchen equipment to ensure optimal operation
• Interpret technical schematics and electrical diagrams to facilitate accurate installation and troubleshooting
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining equipment features, answering questions, and ensuring client satisfaction during the installation process

Requirements

• Proven experience with appliance repair, installation, and maintenance in a commercial kitchen environment or similar setting
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience and familiarity with refrigeration systems
• Ability to read schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals accurately
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other mechanical equipment
• Experience with plumbing work related to kitchen appliances is highly desirable
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently
• Strong customer service orientation with clear communication skills
• Knowledge of MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) practices is a plus
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining safety standards
