Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility in Rutherford, NJ 07070. This is a 6-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Name: Certified Medical Assistant

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 6-month Contract (Possibility of extension or conversion)

Pay rate: $20-$23/hr. On W2 (Pay rate is based on experience)

Schedule: 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm (1 rotating Saturday 8am-1pm)

Float Locations: Bayonne, Hoboken, Maywood, NJ

Responsibilities:

• Handle registration, scheduling, phones, and patient appointments.
• Record vitals and document clinical information accurately.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness, sterilization, and infection control standards.
• Stock and manage medical supplies and equipment.
• Schedule tests and coordinate patient services.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients and providers.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduated from Medical Assistant program, Certification (CMA, CCMA, RMA) (certification is required).
• BLS Certification is required.
