Medical Assistant (MA-C / MA-R)

Location: Everett, WA 98201 (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused Medical Assistant (MA-C / MA-R) to support clinical operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth patient experience by assisting providers with care delivery, maintaining accurate records, and supporting daily clinic workflows.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

What You’ll Do

Room patients and prepare them for examinations by obtaining vital signs (blood pressure, weight, pulse, height, etc.)

Verify and update patient medical history, medications, and allergies in the system

Assist providers during patient visits, including clinical support and patient care coordination

Manage and complete patient paperwork and documentation accurately

Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and ensure readiness for patient visits

Support clinic workflow by ensuring timely patient intake and efficient throughput

Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members

Follow established clinical protocols, safety guidelines, and compliance standards

Minimum Qualifications

Active Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) or Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R)

Minimum 1+ year of experience as a Medical Assistant

Strong clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills

Ability to work efficiently in a team-based environment

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in oncology or specialty care

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Patient-centered mindset with high attention to detail

Work Environment

Onsite clinical setting

No travel or multi-site requirements

No home healthcare responsibilities
