About the Role Support management team in achieving goals by providing World‑class service. Serve as a role model for building relationships with customers. Maintain presence through store supervision to ensure appropriate staff coverage in all areas of the store. Perform operational functions to ensure the store meets company guidelines. Implement visual changes and maintain store standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Create engaging experiences for customers by sharing expertise on styling, decorating and entertaining. Seek out and promote innovative ways to make the store a neighborhood destination for inspiration. Interpret and execute visual inspiration to drive sales and convey the brand’s eclectic, creative and modern spirit. Ensure merchandising and displays are visually compelling to drive sales. Model and coach associates on how to uphold visual standards. Promote the lifestyle and protect the image of the WSI Brands. Make the store a fun, inspirational neighborhood destination. Continually seek inspiration, trends and ways to elevate product, decorating and styling expertise. Replenish the sales floor regularly and maintain visual presentation and displays. Execute floorset to reflect the inspiration, standards and spirit of the directive within the required timeframe. Foster an environment where all associates are treated fairly, with dignity and respect, in accordance with our People‑First Philosophy. Collaborate with the sales team by appreciating and valuing the talents and contributions of others. Be held accountable for brand competencies: operate with strategic agility, drive innovation & change, provide influential leadership, communicate effectively, develop self & others, create teams & partnerships, focus on the customer, model personal accountability, build operational excellence and drive execution. Skills & Knowledge 1–3 years of experience in merchandising or visual roles. 1–2 years of experience in home‑related design or visual merchandising preferred; specialty retail preferred. Effective communication, organization and leadership skills. Proven ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions and examples. Physical Requirements Must be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods. Must be able to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while using appropriate equipment and safety techniques. Full‑time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business. Part‑time flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday) and two during the week (Monday‑Thursday). For an associate scheduled 20 hours or more weekly, greater availability may be required. Education College degree preferred or equivalent job experience.
