Overview
We are looking for reliable and professional tow truck drivers to join our team and become a vital part of our operations. Drivers must have a good work ethic, a passion for towing, and punctuality.
We do not guarantee a set amount of hours in this role. The drivers with the best performance will get the most hours. We are a small company and we are looking for someone who is willing to put in the extra work and grow with us.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and wrecker tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles of various sizes.
- Load, unload, and secure vehicles using appropriate equipment such as winches, straps, and hooks.
- Assist customers professionally by providing clear communication and exceptional service during stressful situations.
- Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, including details of vehicle condition, location, and time.
- Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks and equipment to ensure safety standards are met at all times.
- Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate timely responses to roadside calls.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; no CDL required but experience with commercial driving is preferred.
- Experience operating tow trucks, flatbeds, forklifts or similar equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict calmly and professionally.
- Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, perform manual tasks, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Compensation
- $18 / hr with performance based opportunities for a raise
- $100 bonus for vehicles brought to yard
- $50 bonus for selling batteries
