RN or LPN - Inpatient Psychiatric

Hours of Job:

• PT nights - 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.
• Every Third Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
• Assumes a lead role in patient teaching.
• Places the patient at the center of care practices. Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
• May be required to work other patient care units or shifts according to the distribution of staff, patients, and/or patient acuity.

Requirements:

• Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.

Education/Certifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN or LPN. BSN preferred.

Experience:

• Previous experience preferred, but not required.
