Your responsibilities will include: Providing individualized music therapy services in home and community settings Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, families, caregivers, and other providers Developing and implementing person-centered treatment plans Utilizing a strengths-based clinical approach Supporting growth in: Communication Social interaction Emotional regulation Coping skills Motor development Cognitive functioning Attention and focus Body awareness and coordination Using music to promote neurological functioning, improve communication between the brain and body, and encourage purposeful movement Maintaining accurate documentation and participating as an active member of each individual's support team Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Music Therapy Board Certification (MT-BC) Valid Indiana driver's license Reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance Willingness to travel throughout your assigned service area Preferred Experience providing Medicaid Waiver services Experience with Neurologic Music Therapy Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities We’re Looking For Someone Who Is Compassionate and person-centered Self-motivated and independent Organized with excellent time management skills Detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through Professional, dependable, and reliable A strong communicator who enjoys collaborating with interdisciplinary teams Passionate about helping individuals achieve meaningful outcomes through music Where You’ll Work Our Music Therapists enjoy the flexibility of working in the environments where individuals thrive most.
