Cross Country Education is seeking School Social Workers to support high-risk students and families during the 2026–2027 school year. Position Overview Provide social-emotional support and evidence-based interventions that promote student well-being and academic success. Manage a mild-to-moderate special education caseload while supporting behavioral and therapeutic goals. Partner with students and families to support attendance improvement and re‑engagement initiatives. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster a trauma-informed and supportive school environment. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement Experience supporting high-risk youth, student re‑engagement, or trauma‑informed practices (Preferred) Strong flexibility, communication, and relationship‑building skills in high‑needs school settings Benefits Top Compensation: Earn $46.30 - $49.60 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications as a Social Worker, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
