School Social Worker in Greenville, MI

What We're Looking For:

• Current licensure and credentials required for school-based social work practice in the state
• Previous experience working as a social worker in elementary or secondary school settings preferred
• Strong communication, advocacy, and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized interventions and group programs
• Knowledge of special education processes and resources related to student well-being
• Passion for building positive relationships with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students' emotional, social, and behavioral needs
• Provide individual and group counseling services as appropriate
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
• Attend IEP and student support meetings as required
• Implement crisis intervention protocols and assist with connecting students and families to community resources
• Develop programs and strategies to foster inclusion, resilience, and academic success
